How to enable caching?

The tutorial explains how to enable Caching.

The following steps will guide you through the process of enabling Caching:

The above configuration applies to the ADN platform, the CDN platform caches static files by default. It is only necessary to enable a static cache if you are delivering the whole site from the ADN rather than using a CDN.

A single profile can be enabled at a time, however, when you enable Dynamic caching, it also caches static files.

Step 1: Navigate to the Edge SSL page

In the first step, we need to navigate to the Cache page which is under the Settings page within the project's dashboard. You can visit the page by following the below path:

Dashboard -> Project -> Settings -> Cache

You need to open the project's dashboard from the main dashboard:

To reach the Cache page, expand the settings menu by clicking on the dropdown menu, as shown below:

To navigate to the Cache page, please click on the Cache routing link, as the screenshot below:

Finally, you have reached the Cache page. In the screenshot below, you can see the inner page for the Cache page.

Step 2: Enable Static or Dynamic Cache

When you reach the Cache page, you need to toggle the static or dynamic cache on and click the save button. As part of this tutorial, the static cache will be enabled on the screenshots below.

Our first step is to enable the option by switching the toggle button to the on position:

Following that, you need to save the changes by clicking the save button.

The Dynamic Cache can also be enabled using the same process. As well as how to deactivate the cache by turning off the toggle switch and clicking on the save button.

The propagation period for this action can take up to 30 minutes for all regions and PoPs to be fully propagated.
